Retired headmaster, wife felicitated for deciding to donate their bodies for medical research

A retired head master, Nedunuri Kanakaiah, and his wife, Renuka, from Karimnagar have decided to donate their bodies for medical research after their death. Members of Sadashaya Foundation, an NGO, felicitated the couple during the retirement ceremony held in honour of Mr. Kanakaiah at the government primary school in Gurrampalli of Peddapalli district on Saturday (December 7), according to a press release. They were inspired by the decision of retired Mandal Education Officer V. Pentaiah, who donated his wife’s body to Chalmeda Anand Rao Institute of Medical Sciences for medical research following her death. Sadashaya Foundation president T. Shravan Kumar lauded the couple.
