International conference on Modelling and Simulation in Civil Engineering from Dec 5

Department of Civil Engineering, TKM College of Engineering, will organise the seventh edition of the +’International Conference on Modelling and Simulation in Civil Engineering’ (ICMSC 2024) December 5-7. This conference is conducted biennially to promote the exchange of innovative ideas and practices in the field of civil engineering among students, researchers, and practitioners. The main theme of the conference is ‘Focusing on global partnership for sustainable development and circular economy through technology, infrastructure and research’.

As part of the ICMSC 2024, a pre-conference workshop on ‘Strategies for effective recycling and waste management practices’ will be held on 4 December by Prof. Brajesh Kumar Dubey (IIT Kharagpur) and team. This exclusive event aimed at professionals and government officials is organised by the Department of Civil Engineering in association with the Department of Architecture, TKM College of Engineering, Kollam. A panel discussion on the topic ‘From dream to reality: Kollam 2025’ with panellists from LSGD, Corporation and Suchitwa Mission will be held after the interactive workshop.
