Efftronics Systems Pvt. Ltd., Mangalagiri, in collaboration with SRM University-A.P., International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE), IEEE Systems Council, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII-Andhra Pradesh) and IT Association of Andhra Pradesh, will host a two-day summit on systems engineering.
At a press conference on Wednesday (January 22), Efftronics Systems managing director D. Ramakrishna said the event, scheduled to begin on the SRM University campus on January 23, will bring together industry experts from fields such as aerospace, automotive, industrial equipment, defence, railways and medical devices to explore how systems engineering can drive innovation and self-reliance in India.
Mr. Ramakrishna said it was crucial to boost innovation, reduce import dependency and empower engineers.
Referring to the theme of the event, ‘building a produce-driven India’, he said the industry leaders would provide insights on the subject, and panel discussions would explore opportunities in systems engineering across domains as well as the education and skills required. It would also provide networking opportunities to the participants.
“Through this event, we want to inspire engineers to adopt systems-level thinking for addressing real-world challenges, showcase the critical role of systems engineering in building India’s product-driven economy and provide a platform for cross-sector collaboration among academia, industry and professional organisations,” said Mr. Ramakrishna.
Chief Engineer, Efftronics Systems Pvt. Ltd. B. Sambireddy and Executive Manager S. Bhavanishankar were also present at the press meet.
